Male bonding

Went to Tampines One, the new shopping centre at Tampines (duh!) to take a look. Went early at about 1030am so as to avoid the crowd. It was a nice place and had quite a lot of interesting shops. They even have Korean and Japanese supermarkets as well.

After a walk aroud the place, we went back to Tampines Mall for lunch at the food court. I quite enjoy the food there as they have different cuisine food, including filipino food. So Vicky ordered a filipino noodles dish- Pancit Palabok. I tried it and found it quite unusual but nice! It looks like spaghetti dish with interesting ingredients. Here's what it looks like (got the picture from internet)

After lunch, we went back home. The boys went down to the court for a game of basketball in the evening. Well, just so that Caleb does not cry for the ball, we let him hold his own ball while CT could play in peace.

So the whole time, Caleb just stood by the side watching his daddy play.

I keep telling Caleb to throw his ball but he just wouldnt. He would just hold on tight to the ball and not let go. It was only until I decided to see how he reacts if he loses the ball as I went up to him and beat the ball off his hands. The ball rolled and Caleb ran to catch it and once he got it, it was back to square one as he held tightly to it. Sigh. That is called ball-hogging!

Then, he also started playing with the puddles of water in the court. I am not one who would go crazy when kids get themselves dirty. In fact, I do encourage them to get dirty just as long as I do not have to much to clean up after that. Anyway, its all for the sake of fun and kids should learn to have fun and enjoy themselves.
