First sleep with mummy & daddy

On Friday night was Caleb's first night sleep in my bed. Usually he would sleep with Vicky but we have decided that on Friday nights and Saturday nights, Caleb would sleep with us, since the next day we do not need to work.

Here is Caleb getting all ready for his first night sleep with mummy & daddy. He do not usually wear long sleeves to sleep as he sleeps with only a fan in Vicky's room.



I have to admit that last night was the longest night I have ever felt. It was long and arduous..I was up almost the whole night with a few dozes here and there. And there was one point in time, I almost fell off my bed. Ha.

This is because Caleb took my place..well, almost!Here was where Caleb was sleeping..and that little space was for me-the whole night! His legs were against my body as he doesnt sleep straight. He tends to lean his head against something and then he sticks his legs to my side.



Here is Caleb and CT sleeping together while I was already awake at 6 plus even though it was a Saturday morning. Its really not easy to sleep with Caleb because I try to stay awake the whole night to tend to his needs if need be. And I didnt dare to move a single bit in case I wake him up.So, how to sleep?



But thank God, Caleb did not even cry a single bit the whole night! He slept at about 9 pm last night. Then when he started moving quite a bit at about 130am, I fed him and he finished his milk and fell back right asleep till about 6am where I fed him again. So, at about 7 am plus, he is still sleeping soundly. Yay!

So, you may be wondering how come Caleb slept the whole night but yet, I couldnt sleep the whole night?


I guess on one hand I was pretty excited that Caleb is sleeping with me and on the other hand, I was pretty nervous...of whether I can take good care of him or not. Whether I can keep him quiet when he cries or not. Yep, so THAT was probably what made me stay up the whole night just thinking about it.
