Picked up two of my colleagues in Sengkang and another one in Pasir Ris before heading to Trader's Hotel in Orchard Road for the Staff Dinner. Reached there at 6pm to make sure everything is in order before the staff arrives.
This year's theme is,"Purple Rain" and so most of us were dressed in Purple! Check out the best dressed trio!(who actually took the trouble to rent the gowns..amazing!)
The food was delicious! The dishes were typical wedding dinner food but the quality is great! Here was one of the best dishes we had- sesame seed roast chicken which was surprisingly juicy and tender.
During the dinner, we had prize presentations as well as performances by our very own colleagues. We had a great time! However, I found the function room rather small and I am still toying with the idea whether I should organise next year's dinner in Orchard or not because people (including our committee members) tend to be late since there's always a jam coming to Orchard.
After dinner, we packed up before leaving. Spotted Christmas deco just outside the hotel. So a few of us crossed the road to snap some pictures! Here are they!

Fetched 3 of my colleagues home after the dinner and on the way home, we drove along Orchard Road and caught a glimpse of the Christmas lights. It was stunning! The whole road was filled with white lights and purple snow flakes. Do go down to Orchard Road to catch the lights and Christmas decorations if you have the time!
