Trying to make use of our last few hours in Auckland before heading to the airport at 11 am, we woke up to go to the park for a nice morning stroll.
While at the park, there was this guy who was doing an interesting kind of exercise...its like skiing..but on the roads.
This is the big fountain just in front of the Cornwall park.
That man in the statue is John Logan Campbell. He gave Cornwall Park to the people of NZ. So, they have a statue of him.
After that teeny weeny bit of "exercise", we went to indulge in a hearty breakfast at Burger King which was just next to the park!
I had the usual croissant while CT's order was super yummy. He has "Hold Em' Wrap" which consists of cheese, hashbrowns, sausages inside.
Took this picture from the website.
After a good breakfast, we dropped by at "Pumpkin Patch" shop while walking on the way back to our motel. They were having a sale, so I bought some stuff for my friends, relatives and Caleb of course! Then, went to the motel to greet my family a good morning...and then went back to our room to rest a while before going to the airport.
My brother drove us to the airport and dropped us at the departure place.
We were quite early and our check in was rather fast because it was all done through internet the night before already.
So, we lingered around the airport, looking at stuff and books.
Here's the plane we took back home.
The flight was fabulous. I enjoyed it more than my flight to NZ. I guess because it was day time throughout, so it was more enjoyable as I didnt really feel tired and sleepy. So, could spend the time watching movies after movies.
I managed to catch "Beowulf"-an animated film which was quite violent, "Enchanted"- teenage flick about a prince and a princess. I also caught one more show which I forgot. But I know it was an old movie.
Upon reaching Singapore, I was excited as I knew I would be hugging and seeing Caleb very soon. Here's the place where we waited for our luggage. Thought this was quite a nice sight because of the neatly arranged trolleys..and the plants growing on the wall.
After getting our luggage, we took a cab home to my parents' place to feed the dog and fishes. Then, we unpacked and bathed there. After which, I drove the van to Simei to have dinner at my mum in law's place and to see Caleb!
Caleb was so happy to see us. I gave him the biggest hug and kiss ever! hehe..
When we finally reached home, I took out the hat which I bought for Caleb. And so, here's him wearing it!
My little Indiana Jones..
I am so glad to be back though at the back of my mind, I know I will still miss NZ.
