Exposed to music

Music is a big part of my life as it has been exposed to me by my parents since I was 4 years old- taking up piano lessons and going to SSO concerts at Victoria Concert Hall. Having that foundation, picking up other instruments were much easier.

So, it is quite natural for me now to influence Caleb musically. Actually, he already has a knack for music/sounds. He just loves making sounds from hitting things since few months old. That is why if you were once hit by him, its not because he wants to hurt you, but because there's sound coming out from it. To add on, he would move and bounce his head and body when CT plays a drum beat on the table. That's the rocker in him.

Anyway, I finally exposed him to playing drums. This is a Pearl drum set which I bought probably about 5-6 years ago when I picked up drums. Bought it with my own money and invited my friends over for jamming sessions back then. But those were the times. So here's CT teaching Caleb how to play. I think Caleb just looks mesmerised or stunned from all these..or maybe, he was trying to focus real hard during his drum lessons.

After that, he also had his hands on the piano. It was music to my ears hearing Caleb play.



And here is his rocker attitude showing as he became too engrossed and passionate!



Will Caleb be a great musician when he grows up? I really wonder..
