All ready to "swim"

Today is my god-son's (Asher) birthday party. Since it will be held in a condo, I decided to make use of this opportunity for Caleb to play in the pool. Since I cannot go in, I would just allow him to sit at the side to play with the water, knowing that he would be happy doing just that.

So here's Caleb all ready in his swimming shorts and swimming bag, waiting for us to get out of the house.



And finally, I had the opportunity to take a nice picture with Caleb. But of course, my tummy is not very flattering.



We saw a fountain and decided to let Caleb go and play with it to see if he likes it. Surprisingly, he seemed scared of it.



We tried it the second time and he seemed slightly more comfortable, though he is not at the stage where he would be playing like those kids in Bugis Junction that will get themselves drenched in the fountain.



Then we brought him to sit on the steps in the pool to play with the water. He was very happy!





After playing for a while, we brought him to the shower room to bathe. This was his first time bathing in a shower than the usual bath tub. But he took it quite well and seemed fine with it.



Had quite a fun time bathing him and getting him cleaned up the changing room.



Were there early at the party and Caleb had lots of friends there to play with.


Here's the food we had- mixture of western and asian.



After playing so much and being excited in the day time, Caleb fell asleep during the party. We didnt bring his pram, so we borrowed Eliza's pram.

And Caleb, who seems all so grown up and tall in it!



Caleb was still sleeping when they cut the birthday cake and sang the song. This is not his first time falling asleep at this time during a birthday party.
