Tried out new restaurant

Today, spent my day reading and watching finish my Korean VCDs!! I actually took only 4 days to watch finish about 14 discs.. It is a short series only..so could take so fast to finish. I almost fell asleep after watching the VCDs as I went swimming at 10am this morning.

After swimming a mere 20 laps, I was sunbathing and reading my book on tennis. I wanted some tan and enjoy the sun before the cold weather comes soon...So, I sunbathed for about 15-20 mins under the morning heat.So, was rather tired in the late afternoon.

Tonight, CT and I went to try a new restaurant recommended by my friend from Mobile, Reeda. She told me that this restaurant is quite nice..so I was dying and looking forward to eat. It is called, "Zea Rotisserie Restaurant". The deco looks really high class as it is mostly wood and black colour. So, me and CT dressed nicer. He wore a black polo tee with pants while I wore jeans with long sleeve blouse. Dressed casual smart.

So, as expected, the food was slightly more expensive than the usual restaurants. Costs maybe a few more dollars only which I felt was very worth it as the food was cooked to perfection!! I enjoyed it so much. We ordered one serving of Zea Friday Special: Chicken and Rotisserie Pork Platter with 2 sides- Mashed sweet potatoes and cabbage. We also ordered one starter- sweet pepper wings (Chicken wings with some sort of Thai sweet sauce). We shared the main dish as we felt the servings would be alot. Altogether, the dinner costs us about US$28. Usually, when we eat out, it would costs us about US$20-25 in Western restaurants.

The chicken and pork slices were cooked so tenderly and juicy..yumyum. Very enjoyable dinner even when we had to wait 30 mins for a seat.

After dinner, we went to "Winn Dixie" for grocery shopping. They had a lot of "Buy one get one free" offers in the stall, so I thought of taking a look and see as it is very worth it. Got some stuff and headed back home.

Then, made use of my blender and made strawberry milkshake with the strawberries I bought from Winn Dixie. It was not as nice as I expected as the seeds of the strawberry were a nuisance while drinking it. But other than that, it was nice. CT did not like as when he ate the seeds, it is kind of sour and probably, because of the PINK-y-ness of the drink!
