Had lunch with colleagues during the school holidays today. Had Indonesian food at Tanjong Pagar at a restaurant, called "Cumi Bali"
It is a quaint, little place with few tables that served homecooked Indonesian food. Not too spicy but a whole lot of taste in a dish!
We ordered most of the recommended dishes like Sate Mandura (Huge chunks of chicken satay grilled with kecap manis),cumi bali (light chargrilled squid),ikan bakar, beef rendang, eggplant with sambal belachan
I was slightly disappointed with the fish. Didnt really like it. Other than that, every dish tasted phenomenal.
It's worth coming back here if you like Indonesian food. Be prepared to pay about $15 per person.
