Recently, CT ordered Mio TV for me so that we can compare with our present Starhub Cable Channels. Moreover, Mio TV offers more variety of channels at a lower price.
So finally, the cable guy came to fix it up for us and it was nice to explore more channels. What I like about it so far is the video-on-demand channels which I have. It means that I can watch the shows (movies, variety) anytime I like and can fast forward or rewind or pause.
So far, I have all the channels offered in MioTV as a preview. There are just so many things to watch, including "Little Nyonya" which is in the list of MobTV channels. I also get to watch local drama shows that have not been aired yet.
Another good thing about MioTV is that the children's channels are more educational. They have about 4 kids channels and they really educate children by teaching the numbers and alphabets. However, starhub kids programmes are those famous one like Mickey Mouse, Thomas the train, Noddy etc, while MioTV does not have any of such famous characters. But nevertheless, you could still get it in the local OKTO channel if you miss watching them.
For now, though I will miss my VV drama shows on Starhub, I am still enjoying the channels MioTV has to offer. No complains..
