Christmas Day!

Posted by Dawn at Tuesday, December 25, 2007
This morning, went to my parent's church at Bedok for Christmas Service. I just thought it would be nice to go church together with my family during Christmas even though we go different churches.

It was nice to be back at Bedok Methodist Church (BMC) as that was my first church and have been there for about 10 years. So it was nice to catch up with my old friends and for them to see Caleb for the very first time. BMC to me is like a family as I am quite close to people from all ages (primary school kids all the way to 60 over years old). Too bad I didnt stay long there as I was afraid Caleb might get cranky.

AT night, went my mum's place for Christmas celebration. I left my camera there, so do not have pictures of the dinner. But here's my cousin, Sher's blog as she blogged about the dinner.

Before the dinner, my parents both shared about how God has been good in their lives-taking care of them and blessing them despite my dad's condition. My dad shared about his trip to Cambodia and stories about how God gave them good weather despite the monsoon season there. (As it will be very difficult for my dad to be in his wheelchair when it rains in Cambodia as the soil will be wet and it will be difficult to transfer my dad in and out of the vehicle) as well as how God gave them a free hotel room to stay when they did not have a room. It is really amazing how God works and how He takes care of His children as promised.

After a great and meaningful dinner, we came home and when I realised I left my camera at my mum's place, I took out my handphone to snap pictures of Caleb's presents given by my family and relatives! Here are some of the presents received.

Here's Caleb sitting on his seat as he watched me ripped open his presents.

I am really happy to be spending my first Christmas with Caleb. Though I am sure he doesnt know anything about Christmas, or how blessed he is getting presents from my family, relatives and even my friends..I would hope that when he grows up, he would be always thankful and appreciative of the things and people around him.
