We are the reason!

Christmas is around the corner and as usual, people are busy doing their Christmas shopping till late at nights,



busy organising Christmas dinners for their families or friends, making a trip to Orchard Road to catch the Christmas lights and decorations,



taking advantage of the sale,


making use of the promotion to get free gifts from shopping centres when you purchase a certain amount and above etc etc...



What are you doing to prepare for Christmas?



I know for myself, I am racking my brains to think of appropriate gifts for my family and friends. Buying a gift for them is not something I just grab at a shopping centre and purchase. It takes deep thinking- do they need it? how practical would it be? more importantly, will this bring a smile to their face?

Buying gifts for babies or toddlers is much easier I feel because they do not yet know how to complain and any gift would bring them joy..such simple joy...

With all these busyness and hype, every year in December is a time for me to reflect of all that has happened throughout the year and how I can improve next year. It is also a time where I re-dedicate myself to the Lord for I know that without Him, I wouldnt be where I am today. With heartfelt thanks to God and joy, I celebrate my Christmas.

Do just take a moment this season to think of the meaning of Christmas and give Christ some thought because WE (you and me) are the reason that He gave His life...
