Cool weather

Posted by Dawn at Saturday, August 23, 2008
I remember last year when I had my 1 month of confinement after giving birth to Caleb, the weather was also nice and cooling. And once again, I am so glad that during my pregnancy especially now that my body temperature has increased so much, the weather is so nice(though the rain can be irritating when we are out)

But when it is not raining, and the weather is 25 degrees. How I love it! I am one who doesnt like extreme temperatures. And when I mean extreme, it means anything below zero degrees and anything above 35 degrees. I love nice and cooling weather from the range of 10 degrees to 25 degrees...and if I were to enjoy the heat, I have to be in the beach area where I would appreciate the sun and the sea. If not, I do not think I appreciate hot weathers.

Anyway, today after church in the evening, we went to East Coast Park Island Resort for CT's colleague's one month old baby's party. It was a let down as the resort was so small and there were a number of guests all squeezing inside the small tiny resort because of the rain. So I felt claustrophobic. But glad after a while, the rain stopped and I could bring Caleb out to the park to see the boats in the sea.

Here's Caleb in his new pullover! Suitable for such weather!

Initially the party was supposed to be a BBQ but we didnt stay for that as they only started the fire when the rain stopped...which was quite late already. So after eating the catered food, we left...and on the way home, as we were travelling along Bedok Road, CT turned in to have supper as I told him that I wasnt too satisfied from dinner. So, we went to the Market which we relived our schooling days at TJC. We had satay and rojak. While waiting for the food to arrive, Caleb was busy making some noise!

He was banging the shutters as he kept smiling.

There was this fishball stall owner who came out once in a while to talk to Caleb and she wanted to carry him. But Caleb walked away and started using his hands to hit his chest to show that he is scared. It was quite funny because he has never done that before until tonight when the lady wanted to carry him. And the stall owner tried several times to carry him but he turned the away way around and did the same motion with his hands. Then the lady commented that Caleb was so smart as to not let strangers carry him. But then again I was thinking, Caleb is usually more sociable than that...hmm.

Anyway, it was nice to see aunties interacting with Caleb and vice versa.
