This was what I had for breakfast this morning. Yes, I am even going to blog about hospital food. Ha. Ordered chicken franks with egg and hash browns which comes with 2 slices of wholemeal bread. Hospital food portions are small but at least, it keeps my weight in check.
My mum, CT and Caleb came in the morning to visit me. Caleb was being a concerned brother by checking on mei mei and kissing her.
But of course, he had fun playing with the curtains in my room.Actually, all the children that came to visit me enjoyed playing with the curtains. Ha. Easily amused.
I ordered Western for lunch. The hospital has confinement food but I figured I would be eating confinement food for one month when I go home, so I should enjoy other food first before going home. Had fish and chips today with cream of chicken barley soup. I found the soup really nice and interesting. Instead of the chicken noodle soup, its barley. Great idea. Would love to cook that someday for Caleb.
My brother and family came to visit me in the early afternoon and Janine was really excited to see baby Danielle. She also kept asking about Caleb. So sweet. Here's Janine kissing Danielle.
And as for dinner, I had steak! It was so yummy. I ate my food down within minutes...but I did try to savour each bite to prolong my enjoyment.
CT visits me in the morning and in the evening till night. So he gets to try my dinner as well.
Tonight will be my last night in the hospital. Yippee! Here's Danielle in my room as I breastfeed her. She's a real sucker and biter. Sigh. But glad she is eating well..guess that's more important!
