crying and sleeping

Posted by Dawn at Thursday, October 11, 2007
It has been a week plus already and Caleb still has not been eating well such that I have so many bottles of breastmilk in the fridge all stored up. This is the time where I wish my child would be like my cousin, Sher's daughter, Jody who eats up anything and everything given to her.

Anyway, so now that Caleb hardly eats, he spends most of his time crying and sleeping. In my last post, I talk about things that makes him secure like gripping hold of something or sucking his pacifier. Well, when he falls asleep, he would naturally drop it. So I guess I do not have to worry about him relying on it too much.

Caleb's clothes which used to be loose on him now fits snugly on him. I think in one month's time, he might outgrow some of his clothes. That time would be another reality wake up call for me to realise how time passes so quickly and how fast my boy grows up.

And here is Caleb after his crying session.

Tonight when I put him down on bed, he was quite quiet and responsive. So, Vicky brought the bottle of milk which he has not finish to try it if he would like to drink. I was so afraid to carry him for the fear of him crying again. So, this was how I end up feeding him...

And it worked. He finally drank up all his milk tonight...after much struggle earlier on.
