Potty train

Posted by Dawn at Tuesday, October 16, 2007
Yes, there is no mistake in the title.

That is the latest happening of what Caleb is going through now. "At 3 months old??Is it possible?" you may wonder (or rather, as I questioned myself as well)..but yes! According to my experienced and efficient maid, it is possible. So since she has the confidence to do something which can help me to save lots of money from using diapers, hey, why not?

She told me that it is possible because she has observed the timing that Caleb pees and poos. So, she would bring Caleb to the potty when it is time. She told me that it is more troublesome because she has to carry him and wait for him to pee and poo, but she is determined to succeed since it will save us a lot of money. So, I am def all for it!

Here's Caleb's first time on the potty!

Today, he has not succeeded in peeing or pooing into the potty. But we will continue to do so and update you if it really works or not for a 3 month old baby to be potty-trained.

For tonight's dinner, Vicky cooked a filipino dish. It is actually milk fish (which u can buy from any supermarket) marinated with dark sauce, light sauce, minced garlic, salt, pepper for at least half an hour. Then she deep fries it. It is very very tasty and delicious. The only problem with milk fish is that it has lots of bones but interestingly, the bones are not sharp. Its soft and bend-able, so if you accidentally put it in your mouth and swallow, you may not even notice. She also prepared a very simple sauce- lime juice with few drops of fish sauce to go with it as a dip.

And a vegetarian dish- chinese cabbage, carrots, dried mushrooms, vermicelli, tau pok

As well as a egg beancurd dish with mixed vegetables, mushrooms, prawns and throw in a egg to add to the gravy.

Dinner added with a nice warm bowl of green bean soup. Very well-fed...

isn't it too stressful for a 3mo infant?...even for a 1yo baby is not easy...
by the way, ur milk fish looks kinda burnt which is not quite advisable since the burnt part can be carcinogenic

I dont think its stressful for a 3 month old since they prob dunno what is going on. It is just takes more patience and time for the adult who brings him to the potty.

The milk fish is not burnt. Its just dark because of the dark sauce which was used in marination. So, it taste really nice and sweet when eat the crispy part.
