Determined

Danielle is not only as active as Caleb but also, curious. Since 4-5 months, she has been checking out things and putting everything to her mouth. There are times when I clean her poo and discovered a strand of hair in it. Sigh. Who knows maybe I will find some insects in her poo. Ha!

Because she is so actively curious, she would crawl much quicker now so as to get to the item she set her eyes on. Her eyes would be so fixed and determined just to grab it. Think we, adults can learn from kids like them as there are times when we have a goal but tend to get distracted, thus ending up not reaching it. But Danielle is different, no matter what obstacles is in her way (e.g my leg or other toys), she would just crawl over it without caring about anything, just to get to her goal!



This afternoon, her goal was to get to my laptop and the obstacle was the quilt as her hand got stuck while crawling. But she was persistant and eventually, she managed to 'un-stuck' her hand.
