We decided to venture to another new shopping mall in Singapore- City Square Mall. Dont be confused with the one just near the Causeway in Johor Bahru as its the same name. But this one is located in Farrer Park, near Little India. We drove there, even though its convenient by train.
City Square Mall is the first eco-friendly mall in Singapore. It has a roof that harnesses solar power and rain water. It also comes with restrooms that save water and electricity. Even the carparks is not lit up until it senses movement. So when our car went through a certain dark area of the carpark, the lights automatically turned on. How cool is that? They also have a number of reserved parking lots for wheelchair, family as well as hybrid cars.
I like the mall as it is still not very crowded. Moreover, its quite spacious.
There are a number of kids shop in the shopping centre where Danielle was trying out different hats and hairbands.
I like the Mini Princess shop, which is a branch off from Mini Toons. This particular shop sells all girly accessories. Everything in it looked so pretty and cute! I couldnt believe I could be so excited over such a shop! I really think Danielle has changed me.
Eventually, we bought this simple pink ribbon one for her.
Then at 7pm after our dinner, we watched the acrobatic performance down at level 1. I sat down with Caleb right in front. It was very entertaining and fun!
Caleb was enjoying it as well as he kept staring!
The show ended with confetti coming down. Was pleasantly surprised. Caleb had fun picking up the confetti and throwing it again and again.
Had a really great time! Will definitely be back again as I love the shops! By the way, there is a really nice egg tart shop at basement 1. They sell all sorts of flavour including chilli crab, green tea with red bean etc. Its quite nice!
